Howdy! I just started with a new Concept called “QuickVids”. There are lots of good posts out there how to deal with Service Manager, how to do and configure things. I thought that having videos that explain things might be more valuable. Not sure if this will work, but it s a first try. The QuickVidz videos are short and good portioned and will explain only a specific topic, not a complete scenario. Like that you are able to select the videos of interest and get exactly what you need and expect. I will start with a first series for “Service Manager Authoring” that explains the basics how Service Manager can be extended by creating custom management packs.
This first video explains the setup of the authoring environment with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Visual Studio Authoring Extensions for System Center (VSAE). In later videos of the series will go through the whole process of developing a demo management pack using lots of different management pack elements. Have fun! And don’t forget that feedback is very welcome!
